Dr. Peter Boulden just won 5
medals for his excellence in smile designs & cosmetic
dentistry at this years American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry (AACD).
This brings Dr. Boulden's total awards to 6!
This is a big year for Dr. Boulden
because he recently received his Fellowship in the
Academy of
Comprehensive Esthetics as well. Fellowship
status is a rigorous process in which his cosmetic
dentistry is graded and evaluated by some of the
greatest cosmetic dentists in the country. He and
his partner, Dr. Estep are the only two dentists in the
state of Georgia to have achieved this credential.
A native of Atlanta, Dr. Boulden grew up in Marietta, GA. Dr. Peter Boulden is a graduate of the University of Virginia and the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine degree.
Dr. Boulden, along with his fellowship status, also is sustaining member in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Member of American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society, and Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). Dr. Boulden had extensive training from the BioResearch corporation for its Joint Vibrational Analysis. In addition to completing many hours of post-graduate cosmetic education, he has also attended extensive hands-on training courses in aesthetic dentistry at the acclaimed The Hornbrook Group and Pacific Aesthetic Continuum at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.
Dr. Boulden took part in the ABC series “Extreme Makeover” in April 2003. He is an experienced cosmetic dentist who has lectured locally and nationally. Between 2004 - 2007 Dr. Boulden has won 6 medals from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in the international Smile Gallery competition. This competition is judged by other cosmetic dentists, conference attendees and professionals. Dr. Boulden has performed hundreds of smile makeovers, big and small. Susan Estep, DMD
Dr. Susan Estep recently achieved the status of Fellow in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics. Her journey towards fellowship included both written and clinical exams. The academy rigorously tested her ability to provide excellent results in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. She is one of only 2 Fellows in the state of Georgia. And she shares this honor with her partner, Dr. Boulden.
Dr. Estep also won several medals in this year’s American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Smile Gallery. This competition challenges the top dentists in the nation to submit cosmetic dentistry cases to be reviewed by a board of experts. Dr. Estep was awarded medals, including a gold medal (highest honor), for every case she submitted.
Dr. Estep has spent hundreds of hours attending post graduate continuing education courses at the nation’s elite programs (including the Dawson Center for Advanced Dentistry, Frank Spear’s Seattle Institute, and the Hornbrook Group, to name a few). Dr. Estep’s commitment to furthering her education, along with years of experience in cosmetic dentistry, are what enable her to successfully manage all types of cosmetic dentistry cases (simple to extreme). Dr. Estep has performed hundreds of successful smile makeovers and is experienced in managing TMJ disorders.
After graduating with honors from Georgia Tech, Dr. Estep attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry where she spent extracurricular hours in the dental research department studying the latest dental materials. She is committed to staying on the leading edge of dental technology. She and Dr. Boulden remain committed to using the top equipment and materials in their practice. This enables the doctors to achieve not only great looking-- but also strong and long lasting-- results for each patient.
