At Atlanta Dental Spa, we have the DIAGNOdent. This device aids in the detection of caries (or dental cavities). Even small lesions are detected at the earliest stage, enabling you to protect and preserve the tooth substance. Research has indicated that early cavities won't show up on x-rays and are almost undetectable using conventional detection methods. Our cavity detection works by sending laser light in the tooth (no pain whatsoever!) and gives back a numerical number of the degree of decay associated with that tooth.

At Atlanta Dental Spa we offer nitrous oxide for those patients who request it. Nitrous oxide help ease the anxiety of the dental visit and is proven to aid in pain reduction as well as lessen the amount of local anesthetic you may need for a given procedure. Levels can be easily adjusted for the best possible effect for each individual patient.

Computer imaging can be used to show you what Drs. Estep and Boulden can do for your smile with their expertise in cosmetic dentistry.  A patient will get a simple digital photograph of their face and this image is then downloaded to our computers. The cosmetic dentistry computer uses an imaging program to place the smile design of your choice onto the image of your face.

At Atlanta Dental Spa, we use computerized anesthetic delivery devices. These are lightweight hand pieces that look like a pen. They virtually eliminate the pain you get from the injection and serve as a representation of the first major technological advance in anesthetic delivery since the syringe was first invented nearly one hundred fifty years ago. This computer controlled "Novocaine" delivery system conquers fear of pain and anxiety.
